As we all know, we are drawn to experiences and occupations that resonate with what we're good at and appeal to our innate strengths and gifts.  I have been training my whole life to be a coach and with each choice I made along my journey,                  *  my undergraduate degree in psychology and philosophy                                         (love learning, love people),                                                                                *  my masters in occupational therapy (love making a difference, love people),          *  my training in coaching (love inspiring, love contributing to the planet,                       love people),                                                                                                 I came closer to my purpose, my passions, what I am meant to do on this earth.

My purpose is to coach people in the following:
*  discover your passions and career path,
*  awaken to your authentic self,
*  identify and embrace your purpose through clear action steps,
*  be fully present, and
*  live the life you love.

As an occupational therapist, I helped people achieve their goals and return to lives they loved.  As a tranformational life coach, I partner with people, using empowering language, win/win abundance thinking, presence modeling, as well as goal setting and envisioning techniques to achieve lasting results.

My clients tell me they feel energized and focused after our sessions.  I am dedicated to helping people identify their passions and realize their gifts.  I am committed through my coaching to all beings to awaken to their authentic selves, to their core essence, to their powerful purpose and in so doing, contribute to global sustainability and world peace.

"When I made an appointment to see Jodi Hyde for coaching, I had a very specific goal: find a job.  Although I'd worked as a professional writer for many years, I had never really honed in on the precise reasons why I wrote, and why I wrote what I wrote.   Without knowing those, my job search was bound to be diffuse, unfocused, and ultimately feeble.  Although I wasn't sure what to expect from a life coach, I had some idea she might be a cross between a cheerleader and a vocational counselor, providing heartfelt encouragement and practical suggestions.
 
Although she did both, that turned out to be the least of it.
 
Jodi created an atmosphere in which I could lay everything out, from confused thoughts to half-examined hopes.  Her questions and her attitude made it possible for me to open my own particular Pandora's box and allow the contents to swarm out.  Doubts about the relevance of my skills and experience.  Fears about scarcity.   Questions about identity.  It was immediately clear to me that Jody was not working off a script; rather, she was looking within herself for what might be true about me and my situation, posing questions to me, and allowing me to find for myself what was true about me and my situation.  This ability to guide a person to the arena where answers can be found is truly a gift.  Jodi has that gift.
